The Westfield is a twelve bedroom Victorian bed and breakfast which is fully licensed and non-smoking. It was previously a hotel and was fully refurbished to a high standard in October 2010 and is now a family run b&b with lots of touches you would expect to find in a well run hotel. There is ample car parking with CCTV and is situated within easy reach of the many amenities that Sandown has to offer and is an excellent base to explore the Isle of Wight.

Food and Drinks

Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.30am in the modern breakfast room overlooking the patio garden and consists of a wide choice including a full English using fresh and local ingredients where ever possible and all the food is cooked to order. 

Grounds and gardens

The Westfield has a well-stocked bar which is open in busy periods and a patio area and a front lawn/beer garden with picnic benches where guests can relax and have a drink.

Other facilities

There is a comfortable residents lounge where hot drinks are available throughout the day with books, magazines, games and a 42" tv with a Wii and a pool table and dart board for guests to use.

New for 2012: a Hot Tub which can hold up to seven people and for a small charge sixty minute sessions can be booked, towels and slippers are provided but please remember your swimwear.

Directions: Head west on Ferry Road toward Castle Street and take the first right onto Castle Street, at the roundabout take the third exit onto Well Road (A3021) and go through a roundabout, at the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Lushington Hill (A3054) and turn right onto Park Road. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Briddlesford Road. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Downend Road and turn left onto A3056 and go through two roundabouts then turn left onto Sandown Road and the Westfield is on the left.
